Director of Coaching & Athlete Development
Tom is responsible for the strategic direction of Athletics in Northern Ireland. He works closely with Laura and Tom Reynolds to develop coach and athlete development initiatives across the province. A technology enthusiast and former coach at Loughborough University he founded uCoach.com in 2009 and NIfutures.com in September 2015.
Coach Development / Physical Preparation Lead
Laura is responsible for providing coach development opportunities in Northern Ireland and supports coaches in their continuous professional development through delivery of formal coaching qualifications, workshops and mentoring.. As a UK Accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach Laura also develops the Physical Preparation programmes for athletes in Athletics NI’s Talent Development squads.
Athlete Development Lead
Tom is responsible for providing athlete development opportunities including selecting and monitoring Youth Academy & Rising Stars athletes. With 14 years coaching experience Tom’s role includes team selection & management, weekly session delivery, co-ordinating athlete services and competition support.
